Team Leader Alumni - Antonia Baramova

Антония Барамова

What motivated you to participate in the program?

The desire to invest in my professional development. In my line of work, I was met with a variety of leadership models, some of which were very wrong. I wanted to be part of the good example and to develop myself not only by relying on experience but also through additional training, through which I could learn to apply good practices in organizing and leading teams.

What challenges did the program assist you in overcoming?

One of the major challenges for me in teamwork has been having difficult conversations, especially when it comes to counteracting the multiplication of negative practices and behaviors for which I have no tolerance. In the program, I had the opportunity to analyze both myself and various situations. The understanding and conclusions I gained helped me to build my own model for the future.

What is the most valuable takeaway you learned from the program?
The program is valuable in many ways. The different modules provide a 360-degree view, examining the role of a team leader from all angles. The opportunity to analyse various cases and topics from the daily work environment in an isolated setting was particularly useful and valuable for me.

What would you like to share with other individuals considering joining the program?

Joining the program was one of the best decisions I've made for my professional development. It is amazingly well-structured, comprehensive, useful, and, in my opinion, essential. Leadership functions are crucial not only for the successful development of a particular business but also for the successful development of the people within it. For me, it is more than important to strive to be good not only in the results but also in the processes. These processes thrive in a healthy environment and with a healthy team. The program validated these beliefs of mine and provided me with additional tools to work with.
